As a secondary goal, It encourages students to consider which musical parameters (texture, dynamic, meter, rhythm, harmony, melody, etc.) are important in the work, and how those parameters contribute to the form. It investigates solo, chamber, and symphonic works from 1780 to the present day. (This course offers the Post-Tonal (PT) attribute)
