PSYC 424 - Seminar in Educational Psychology: Online Education and Gamification

Educational Psychology is the study of how humans learn and develop knowledge, including emotional, social, and cognitive learning processes. Learning is a lifelong endeavor. People learn at school, at work, and in a wide variety of other culturally embedded daily activities. Areas of focus include teaching and learning in school settings, psychometrics, learning environments, learning disabilities, and neurodiverse populations. This course will survey current research in these and other core areas of the field.

Prerequisites: PSYC 100 and PSYC 200.
