CIME 335 - Advanced Screenwriting WorkshopFC ARHU WINT 4 credits This advanced screenwriting workshop is designed for students interested in writing a full-length screenplay. We will delve deeply into what makes a film script that is innovative, engaged, honest, and that holds readers’ attention throughout. As we explore these aspects of successful scripts through in-depth discussions and analyses, students will produce their own professional-quality screenplays. Through reading assignments, viewing films, and writing exercises we will explore the inner workings of an excellent full-length screenplay, while also illustrating how essential it is that any work of art, including a screenplay, brings forth what really matters to the artist.
Prerequisites: CIME 130 and (CIME 295 or CRWR 295). This course is cross-listed with CRWR-335
