LLAB 115 - Peer Tutoring Skills

This one-module course gives peer tutors the opportunity for in-depth training and follows the requirements set by the College Reading & Learning Association for level one tutor training. Students explore a variety of topics and practice skills to facilitate individual tutoring sessions. The course includes a practicum in which students will tutor a peer or peers in a variety of subject areas. Students have opportunities for evaluation and reflection. An application and interview are required, but no prior tutoring experience is required.
