This course will unravel the biological and psychological processes influencing romantic attraction, attachment, and long-term bonding. We will examine the brain’s reward pathways, the roles of hormones like dopamine and oxytocin, and how factors like culture and upbringing shape our love experiences. Students will understand how neuroscience intersects with psychology, sociology, and even art to create the profound knowledge of love. Prior neuroscience background is not required, just a curiosity about the brain and human relationships.
