EXCO 158 - MurderCo 2 credits This course will examine the ways in which murder is perpetrated, prosecuted and publicized in this country through the in-depth examination of ten American murder cases: OJ Simpson, Columbine, the Menendez brothers, Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ed Gein, Casey Anthony, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Roy Bryant and JW Milam (the murder of Emmett Till) and finally Dr. Anna Pou and the tragedies at Memorial Hospital following Hurricane Katrina. This course will approach sensitive and potentially triggering topics.
