EXCO 705 - Practicum in Upcycling

Do you worry about what to do with old stuff? Have you been labeled as a hoarder by your friends? This course is the solution! The Practicum in Upcycling will give you the skills you need to put new life into old stuff. You will develop a sense of self-efficacy surrounding the important concept of sustainability by improving your abilities to repair, reuse, and reinvent used garments and other materials. While this course centers on garment upcycling, students can apply course concepts to any items they deem appropriate. While this class will have short lectures, it is meant to be a practicum. So get ready to have fun!
