EXCO 806 - Blood on the ExCo

The purpose of this course will be to, as a group, take a deep dive into the game Blood on the Clocktower, a deception and social deduction game. We shall accomplish this goal by playing weekly and thinking about theoretical ideas that relate to either deception or the design of the game. Each week, we will begin by having a relatively short presentation and discussing any reactions to that presentation. We will then play a game of Blood on the Clocktower. In a broader sense, this course will help students stimulate their critical thinking and the ability to examine problems and figure out solutions, as well as give an opportunity for students to practice and hone their ability to hold difficult conversations.
