EXCO 831 - Ge-yeo-caching ExCo 1 credit Love getting outdoors? Scavenger hunts? Orienteering? Join Gee-yeo-Co! Geocaching is a puzzle oriented game in which you find real hidden objects off of GPS coordinates. A geocache is any waterproof container with a log inside. The objective is to find the hidden object, sign your name, and then continue caching. A geocache can be as big as a building or as small as your pinky-nail. Anything is possible! In geo-caching co you will find twelve caches hidden on campus, and then create your own geocache to add to the community. We will have discussions of the theoretical, political, and social implications of geocaching. We will also play and add to the game. Students will grow a newfound understanding of Geocaching and actively participate in its culture here in Oberlin.
