EXCO 223 - Intro to Language Invention

Want to make a language? In this course, students will learn the basics of language creation, also known as conlanging, and use this to create the sounds, words, and grammar of their own language, culminating in the translation of a short text. The class will meet twice per week, for one required lecture session and one optional workshop session. No prior knowledge is necessary. Come learn about linguistics from a fun and uniquely creative perspective!
