EXCO 360 - I Hate MathCo

I hate math!!! In I Hate MathCo, we will examine why we all hate math so much. Each class period, we will look at an interesting theorem or paradox that you probably didn’t learn in school and discuss it (any level of math knowledge welcome - these will be interesting but not difficult examples). We will talk about why the math education system is failing us and what we can do about it. We will also learn about mathematical thinking and how it can help us in everyday life. This course is meant for students who have always hated math but want to learn why people are still doing it, as well as people who love math but question math education and practice
