Swedish is the native language of over 10 million people in the world, is mutually intelligible with Norwegian, and greatly improves one’s understanding of, and ability to more easily learn, other Scandinavian languages. This course requires no previous knowledge, and aims to provide students with an introductory understanding of Swedish grammar, vocab, pronunciation, and culture! And, undoubtedly, the best and most impressive skill you will gain is the ability to accurately pronounce all those strange (and in fact often completely made-up) IKEA product names!
