EXCO 201 SP - SwedishCo

Swedish is the native language of over 10 million people in the world, is mutually intelligible with Norwegian, and greatly improves one’s understanding of, and ability to more easily learn, other Scandinavian languages. This course requires no previous knowledge, and aims to provide students with an introductory understanding of Swedish grammar, vocab, pronunciation, and culture. Class sessions will emphasize active participation, and homework will consist of a mix of worksheets, writing assignments, recording exercises and a final group presentation on some aspect of Swedish culture.
