LEAD 165 - Oberlin Finance Club LEAD Course

In this course, students will gain hands-on experience preparing stock pitches for the Oberlin Finance Club. They will learn technical skills like valuation techniques, accounting, and financial metric analysis. They will practice other skills such as researching and analysing industries, companies, and macroeconomic trends. They will gain presentation skills as well from preparing for their pitch presentations. They will also gain experience using Bloomberg Terminals, Excel, PowerPoint, statistics, and portfolio risk management that will prepare them for a career in finance. Course can be repeated once for credit.
