Continuation of MUTH 202. Topics include chromatic and atonal materials, ametric compositions, more complex polyrhythms and meter changes, introduction to the soprano clef, and score reading involving transposing instruments. Preference given to students for whom aural skills is a required subject.

Prerequisites: MUTH 202.
