MUTH 352 - Advanced Musicianship and Score Study

This course in score-reading and score-based musicianship and analysis focuses on major orchestral works of the 19th-21st centuries. Students will deepen their mastery of clefs (all c-clefs and f-clefs), transposing instruments, score analysis, score reduction at the keyboard, orchestration and arrangement, and advanced sight-singing techniques.

Prerequisites: MUTH 202.
