CRWR 312 - Poetic Sequences

This upper-level poetry workshop will explore a wide range of contemporary poetic sequences, examining their craft, complexities, and effects, and using their models as inspirations for students’ own work. The course is designed to help enlarge students’ poetic range by learning to create and sustain poetic sequences. While working on their own poetry writing, students will also support their fellow poets, via constructive critique and feedback, in moving their creative work towards its ambitions.
