THEA 207F - Acting Ensemble

FC ARHU
4 credits
This course extends the foundational work of THEA 100 into a collaborative, rehearsal-centered process with peer directors. Serving as a bridge between classroom scenework and production practice, students apply their training within an active director-actor partnership. Drawing on Stanislavsky’s Active Analysis and Anne Bogart’s Viewpoints, actors deepen their understanding of action, impulse, spatial awareness, and ensemble responsiveness. Emphasis is placed on disciplined preparation, adaptability, and creative agency in rehearsal. Working closely with directors, students refine their ability to articulate choices, respond to feedback, and sustain imaginative life within evolving staging structures.
