An introduction to fundamental chemical principles through the study of environmental systems. Chemistry concepts will be developed in the context of air and water chemistry, climate change, energy production, and ubiquitous anthropogenic pollutants. Students will also examine the scientific and societal dimensions of environmental issues through case studies.
