CHEM 327 - Synthesis Laboratory

This course focuses on the development of advanced techniques to synthesize and characterize organic and inorganic compounds. A particular emphasis is placed on using spectroscopic analysis for chemical structure elucidation. Through journal-style lab reports and in-class presentations, students will further develop their ability to report and discuss scientific data. Students must register for both lecture and laboratory.

Prerequisites: CHEM 205 and CHEM 213.
