NSCI 341 - Laboratory in Developmental Neurobiology

In this laboratory, students will learn various techniques to examine how various factors influence neurodevelopment in the model organism, Caenorhabditis elegans. Training will also focus on lab notebook skills, teamwork, experimental design/proposal, data analyses, and interpreting and presenting findings. Students will finish the semester by designing and executing a novel experiment examining how environmental factors influence neurodevelopment. Some experiments will require work outside scheduled lab period.

Prerequisites: NSCI 201 and BIOL 100 and (DATA 113 or DATA 205 or PSYC 200).
