ARBC 201 - Intermediate Arabic IFC ARHU CD 4 credits Students progress from novice to the intermediate level of Arabic proficiency. Students further develop communicative skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing through meaningful language tasks and culturally rich texts on topics such as food, shopping, special occasions, and different aspects of Arab society and Arab diaspora. Students will engage with longer readings and audio materials while developing narration and description skills. At this proficiency level, students can participate in a variety of uncomplicated communicative tasks, ask and answer questions, and create with the language using connected sentences.
Prerequisites: ARBC 102 or equivalent.
