ARBC 202 - Intermediate Arabic IIFC ARHU CD 4 credits Students progress toward the Intermediate High/Advanced Low level of Arabic proficiency. Students will expand their linguistic and cultural knowledge through engagement with authentic and semi-authentic materials related to contemporary aspects of Arab society. Course topics include media, education, travel, and immigration. Students will further develop their reading and interpretation skills, engage in extended conversations, and write paragraphs of increasing length. Students will develop ease and confidence in longer conversations across a wide range of familiar topics, narrate and describe events in different time frames, and handle social interactions in everyday situations.
Prerequisites: ARBC 201 or equivalent.
