MUTH 110 - General Music Theory for Non-MajorsFC CNDP 4 credits This is an introductory music theory course for students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences. Topics will include basics of notation, scales, keys, chords, and intervals; aural comprehension of musical forms; style analysis; expressive text setting; connections between music and other art forms; and other topics determined according to the interests of those enrolled. Not intended for students enrolled in the Conservatory.
This course is appropriate for new students.
