APST 753 - Practicum in Djembe Orchestra Applications

Students enrolled in this course will have the opportunity to apply Djembe & Dunun techniques in application to a variety of contemporary musical settings. The course will also cover the history and melody of specific folkloric forms and their uses in cross genre settings, pop band, jazz, and folk applications.

Prerequisites: APST 750 (may be taken concurrently).
