BUSI 123 - Organizational BehaviorFC SSCI 4 credits Management is fundamentally about people. It is done by people, for people, and with people in mind. While computational and analytical tools (e.g., DCF) can be powerful assets for managers, a deep understanding of human dynamics is essential for leading organizations effectively. This course explores foundational concepts in organizational behavior (OB), the study of how individuals behave within organizations and how to create more effective and inclusive workplaces. Specifically, we will examine topics such as motivation, group dynamics, and leadership. Through these topics, students will develop a deeper understanding of how individuals and teams function in organizational settings and how managers can foster collaboration, engagement, and effective performance. Field trip(s) required.
