BUSI 390 - Strategy

This course explores how firms achieve and maintain competitive advantage in turbulent environments with great uncertainties. Drawing on knowledge and skills gained from prior studies (e.g., marketing, operations, finance, etc. ), students will analyze industry structures, evaluate internal resources, and formulate strategies that align with organizational goals. As a capstone experience, the course emphasizes bridging theoretical frameworks with practical applications, enabling students to address complex strategic challenges and craft solutions that drive long-term organizational success while enhancing customer value. Field trip(s) required.

Prerequisites: BUSI 103, (BUSI 116 or ECON 099), and at least two 200-level BUSI courses.
