BUSI 201 - Introduction to Business Analytics

To manage is to make decisions. Conceptual theories may guide these judgments, yet compelling decisions require solid empirical evidence. This course introduces structured approaches for analyzing business data to generate and communicate insights. Students will explore tools such as inferential statistics, machine learning, and workflow automation to support decision making and draw meaningful conclusions. Through conceptual discussion and practical applications, students will learn to frame analytical questions, interpret results, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. The course supports beginners in building confidence and offers experienced students opportunities to deepen their skills in business contexts. Field trip(s) required.
