ARST 853 - Intermediate Media Art Projects

This intermediate course in media art focuses on the development of individual projects, emphasizing experimentation, research, and critical engagement with contemporary media practices. Students will refine their technical and conceptual skills while working across time-based and digital media, including video, sound, images, installation, and hybrid forms. Through structured critiques, discussions, readings, and independent research, students will capture their influences, interests, and ideas in a personalized list, helping to sharpen their creative voices while building a self-directed body of work. Field trip(s) required.

Prerequisites: One introductory media art course.
