CC
2 credits
This co-curricular course trains students as Certified Peer Educators (CPE) through NASPA’s nationally recognized program, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to promote holistic student well-being. Grounded in SAMHSA’s Eight Dimensions of Wellness-emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual-this course provides foundational training in health promotion, behavior change, leadership, and facilitation skills to support campus well-being initiatives. Through interactive training, hands-on experiences, and applied projects, students will develop the necessary competencies to engage their peers in wellness promotion, foster a supportive campus community, and advocate for health equity.
