THEA 407 - Directing III

This studio class will provide directors with an overview of the stage director’s process-from preparatory script analysis to rehearsal and production. In the first module, directors will review fundamental rehearsal skills through readings, exercises, and rehearsing scenes with the actors of the Acting Ensemble. The second module will culminate in the directors casting, rehearsing, and presenting one-act plays of their choosing in a showcase. This course can be repeated once for credit.
