FYSP 163 - Research and Reasoning in NSCIFC NSMA QFR WINT 4 credits Research in neuroscience and its connection with other STEM disciplines has made enormous contributions to our understanding of the world and to advances in health, technology, and more. The interdisciplinary nature of neuroscience is helping attract new talent who contribute to many scientific innovations. This course will examine the production and application of knowledge in neuroscience and other STEM fields, with an emphasis on the research process, scientific writing, research ethics, and professional skills development. Students will improve their critical evaluation of neuroscience and other STEM literature, develop their quantitative skills, and communicate in both written and oral forms.
