LEAD 128 - Intercultural Humility and Communicating Across Diverse CommunitiesCC 2 credits This course builds practical skills for authentically leading and effectively communicating across diverse groups, cultures, and communities. Students learn intercultural humility, strengths-focused language, and restorative ways to respond when conflict or harm occurs. Topics include active listening, asking clarifying questions, giving feedback, handling tension in groups, and repairing conversations after misunderstandings. The course also covers burnout prevention for students in high-responsibility roles by practicing how to set limits and seek support early. Classes are hands-on and scenario-based.
