GEOS 112 - Rivers of Earth

This course will focus on the geomorphic, ecological, and climatic processes shaping river systems around the world. We will be particularly interested in river restoration, exploring both the scientific and human dimensions of its practice. In-depth case studies of resilient and vulnerable rivers will help us understand how fluvial forms and functions interconnect with human history.

This course is appropriate for new students.
