CRWR 491 - Long Projects Seminar

This course permits students to undertake a semester-long independent writing project, with the support of a workshop group, as their 400-level work in the Creative Writing major. Interested students submit proposals (including proposed genre, influences, research/readings to support the project, and schedule) by the CRWR applications deadline in the preceding semester. Students are selected for the course before registration begins. Peer workshops and seminar discussions facilitate the development of independent project planning, writing, and revision. The multi-genre class meets weekly. Only available to senior CRWR majors. Students should complete all their 300-level work before proceeding to 491.
