This course prepares students for acting in a professional setting through classroom instruction and off campus experiences in local professional theaters. Classroom topics include onstage and rehearsal etiquette, contract negotiations, preparatory techniques, program specific acting techniques in a professional setting, and critical thinking skills related to creation of a production. Off campus work experience can include onstage performance or understudying professional actors at professional theaters in the greater Cleveland area. Field trip(s) required.
