Composition Courses: Principal Private Study: 4-6 Hours
(May be repeated for credit)
Students beginning Principal Private Composition study in the Conservatory must have completed the two-semester module sequence of composition classes (COMP 201 and COMP 202). Upon completion of that course sequence, the will be eligible for principal private composition. Transfer students are assigned to the composition sequence based on audition and transfer of credits. Composition Courses: Secondary Private Study: 2 Hours

Students may pursue Secondary Private Composition study only with
the recommendation of the department and approval of the Office of the
Associate Dean. This course is available to non-Composition majors in
