Declaring the Minor

The minor is open to all students earning a Bachelor of Music degree.
The student must be recommended by their private study teacher.
The student must be approved by the organ department, after at least two semesters of secondary study.

First Minor Committee Examination

Administered after two semesters of secondary private study.
Consists of the preparation of a hymn and the performance of a standard piece of organ repertoire; the repertoire performance may be presented in a studio class or departmental recital.

Second Minor Committee Examination

Administered after four semesters of secondary private study.
Consists of the preparation of a hymn and the performance of a standard piece of organ repertoire; the repertoire performance may be presented in a studio class or departmental recital.
