The Office of Career Exploration and Development (CED) empowers students and alumni by providing the tools and confidence they need to navigate their future career paths successfully. Through inclusive and personalized guidance, dynamic career communities, and various innovative resources, CED prepares students and alumni to face the challenges of an ever-evolving job market. CED offers access to OberLink, our student-alumni networking platform, and diverse professional services that help students explore opportunities aligned with their academic interests and values. Whether students pursue internships, research, or performance-based experiences, they can develop critical skills and gain hands-on learning experience through numerous signature career initiatives. These include the Internship+ Commitment, Summer Experience Funding, Ashby Business Scholars Program, Winter Term Micro-Internships and Career Treks, and the Senior Launch Program. CED also provides practical resources, such as a professional clothing closet and a professional headshot photo booth. CED is dedicated to helping students turn their ambitions into achievements at every stage, ensuring they graduate ready to thrive in a constantly changing world.
