HIST 382 - Afro-Asian America: Intraminority Connections in Historical PerspectiveMode(s) of Instruction: In-person FC SSCI CD WADV 4 credits Seminar guides students in methods of historical research and writing through subject of Afro-Asian relations in America and the world during the 20th century. Through readings and projects, students will develop an understanding of comparative racial formations, connections between Asian American and African American histories, and salience of Black-Asian thought and relations against developments including U.S. civil rights movement, Third World anti-colonialism, and the Los Angeles riots.
