ECON 231 - Environmental EconomicsMode(s) of Instruction: In-person FC SSCI QFR 4 credits The course is an introduction to the theory and practice of environmental economics. Emphasis is placed on understanding how the basic tools of economic analysis are used to identify sources of environmental problems, value environmental resources, and design environmental policy within the framework of a market based economic system. Prerequisites & Notes: ECON 101 or its equivalent. This course is cross-listed with ENVS 231
