POLT 411 - Practicum in Applied Research

Functioning as part of a small consultancy team (the Oberlin Research Group –ORG), students will research and write on a topic that services the needs of an off-campus organization or government official (often in the US State Department). Students will learn about the management challenges, ethical issues, and choices of political research consultants conducting international and national research. Open to sophomore, junior and senior students.
Prerequisites & Notes: Consent of instructor needed.
