ECON 243 - Economic History of the United StatesFC SSCI QFR 4 credits This course examines United States economic history from the colonial period to the present. The goal of the course is to use economic methods to further our understanding of U.S. history. Topics covered include the development of U.S. legal and political institutions, industrialization and urbanization, financial history, the Civil War, the transportation revolution, and the Great Depression.
