GERM 433 - Senior Seminar: Twentieth-Century German Poetry
FCARHUCDWADV4 credits Analysis of continuities and disruptions in lyrical forms during a century of political and social upheaval. Poets include Hofmannsthal, Rilke, George, Trakl, Lasker-Schüler, Brecht, Benn, Celan and a variety of post-war lyricists. Prerequisites & Notes: Two 300-level courses in German or instructor consent.
