ARST 111 - Introduction to 2D DesignFC ARHU 4 credits In this course, students will learn the foundations of pictorial design essential to the image-making process. Knowledge of the elements and principles of design, such as composition, form, color are the pillars for successful design that supports a wide-variety of fine and applied art. Each project and assignment is designed to enhance understanding of the basics of image-making by applying a wide variety of materials through analog and digital techniques. Prerequisites & Notes: This course was formerly taught as ARTS 042. This course is appropriate for new students.
