FC ARHU CD
4 credits
Toni Morrison (1931-2019) is the most prolific American author of the 20th and 21st centuries.  Her contributions to arts, humanities, publishing, and American cultural politics are unparalleled.   We will focus on her novels, essays, and scholarship on these works, engaging in a close reading of Ms. Morrison’s commentary on American racial and cultural politics, the power of writing Black lives, and the power of arts and humanities to change the way we view ourselves and the world we inhabit.
