CRWR 110 - Poetry Lab

Poetry Lab is an intro-level poetry writing course. Intensive and extensive reading and discussion of diverse works of contemporary poetry from a creative writing perspective. In the weekly writing exercises students will encounter the opportunity to apply the techniques they have learned from the assigned readings. Later in the term, students will break into small self-led groups to offer constructive feedback about student poems in progress. Primarily for first years; first-semester first years wishing to study with CRWR can only take our 100-level courses. Upperclasspersons may be considered during add/drop.

This course is appropriate for new students.
