APST 284 - Orchestral Repertoire for Violin

Repertoire will be chosen from works most frequently encountered at orchestral auditions. Emphasis will be on bowing styles and general techniques used in orchestral playing at the professional level. An attempt will be made to coordinate the repertoire with that of the Oberlin orchestras. Two simulated orchestral auditions will be required. May be repeated for credit.
