THEA 336 - Scene Design II

This class is a continuation of THEA 236 and explores how scenic design addresses the challenges of multi-set plays, musical theater, and dance. Students will develop analytical, conceptual, communication, and artistic skills by creating scenic designs for a variety of styles and theater genres. Collaboration and creative problem-solving techniques are developed through an iterative design process. Final designs are expressed through sketches, 3-dimensional scale models, scale drawings, and color renderings and will result in portfolio-worthy projects.

Prerequisites: THEA 222 or THEA 236.
