ANTH 427 - Advanced Topics in Linguistic Anthropology
FCSSCICDWADV4 credits This course, a continuation of ANTH 204, allows students to further explore the methods, theories, and applications of linguistic anthropology. The seminar has two primary goals: (a) to engage and evaluate contemporary work in the field and (b) to provide students an opportunity to develop their own topical interests in language as a social, cultural, and political phenomenon.
